As mentioned before, we don’t know much about what the Tesla phone will do. But we can make some educated guesses based on Elon Musk’s other products:

  • The phone will likely be a foldable device.
  • Tesla cars have Autopilot and navigation features, so it would make sense for the phone to have those features too.

What Can The Tesla Phone Do?

The Tesla phone will be capable of connecting its users to their Tesla car. It has been confirmed that the phone will have the ability to turn on and off your car. The phone will also give you Tesla vehicle data, such as the location of your parked vehicle, the most efficient route to take, and if your car is locked. This data can be accessed using the Tesla App, which you’ll also need to use the Tesla phone.

The Tesla phone will also have an augmented reality function that will be able to show you how much charge your car has. You’ll be able to see how much range your car has on a map, receive notifications for when your car is low on charge, and even charge your car remotely.

Along with its other functions, the Tesla phone will make it easier for drivers to find their vehicle in a crowded parking lot. It will use the camera to identify the license plate numbers of all the cars around you. So, if you’re looking for your Tesla, just use the camera on your Tesla phone!
